We value your privacy and know how important it is for you to have complete peace of mind regarding our use of information about you. This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") describes how we collect information from you or about you on our website ("websites" or "site"), why we collect this information, and how we will use or disclose this information. COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION

The information that we gather generally can be categorized as either anonymous or personally identifiable. Anonymous (or sometimes referred to as "aggregate") information is information that cannot be linked to a specific individual. This includes website usage, referral, domain, and platform information. It also includes each user's IP address and information from a "cookie," which is a standard Internet technology that allows us to both store and retrieve information on a user's system. We use this anonymous information to obtain a better understanding of how visitors use our website and to make decisions on how to improve it

Personally identifiable information is information you provide that lets us know specific facts about you, such as your name, address, email address, phone numbers, payment information, photographs, Social Security number, or any combination of information that could reasonably be used to identify you (collectively, "Personal Information"). We collect Personal Information from you at different points on our site and use this Information as follows:

CLIENT

  1. Registration information. In order to participate in our services, we require that you register for an online account. Our registration form will specify the information that you must provide, which may include, for example, your legal name, email address and date of birth.
  2. Outcome of Insemination Reports. When you submit an outcome insemination report, you will be asked to provide certain Personal Information, including your name and email address, along with health information relating to your insemination procedure, which will allow us to provide better customer service.
  3. Billing Information. If you decide to participate in any of our services, you may be required to provide billing information (such as credit card or debit card information). Please note that CCB does not directly collect or store your financial information – instead we use a reputable third party company (the "Payment Processing Company") to collect and process your payment information. Rest assured, however, that we have taken steps to confirm that the Payment Processing Company protects Personal Information it collects from you in compliance with our Privacy Policy.

DONOR

  1. Donor information. If you intend to be a donor, you will be asked to provide health-related information such as your medical history, pre-existing conditions and other health-related information. We will use the provided health information for the purposes of providing our services and we will not share this information with any third parties, except as contemplated under this Privacy Policy or the particular service that you use. In addition, you will be asked to create a donor profile that will include a photograph of yourself, general demographic information, religious and educational background, and your interests and hobbies.

GENERAL

  1. Other Uses. In addition to the uses specifically identified in this Policy, we may use Personal Information that you provide in any other manner that we reasonably deem necessary in order to provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us through the site.

We use your Personal Information for the purpose that it is submitted to us, which may include providing it to third parties with whom we have relationships to deliver the information, products or services that you request. We will use your Information to respond to requests you may make of us, and from time to time, we may refer to your Information to better understand your needs and how we can improve our website, products and services. We may also use your Information to contact you and/or provide you with general health information (like information on certain health conditions) as well as information about our products and services. We may also enhance or merge your Information with data obtained from third parties for the same purposes. Any information that we link with your Personal Information will be treated as Personal Information.

Please note that any comments or information that you contribute to public-facing portions of the website, including the Bulletin Board and Sibling Registry, become public immediately and any information (including, but not limited to, Personal Information) you disclose becomes publicly available on the website. Our Privacy Policy does not cover the information you disclose in such public-facing portions on our Site. You should, therefore, use discretion in what you submit to these forums.

An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data, should direct his query to the privacy contact listed below. If requested to remove data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We may share your Personal Information with agents, contractors, or partners of CCB in connection with services that these individuals or entities perform for, or with, CCB. These agents, contractors, or partners are restricted from using your Personal Information in any way other than to provide services for CCB, or services for the collaboration in which they and CCB are engaged (for example, some of our products are developed and marketed through joint agreements with other companies).

We will provide an individual opt-out or opt-in choice before we share their data with third parties other than our agents, or before we use it for a purpose other than which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized. An individual who seeks to opt-out of these transfers should submit a written request to the privacy contact listed below.

We may disclose Personal Information to respond to legal requirements, to enforce our policies, or to protect anyone's rights, property or safety. Please note that we may not allow an opt-out option for non-marketing service emails (for example, emails concerning your order or website disruptions). CCB will not share your Personal Information with a third party for the purpose of solicitation without your prior consent.

COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

When you use our website we may use cookies and other technologies in order to facilitate and customize your use of our services.

What is a cookie? A cookie is a small data text file, which a website stores on your computer or mobile device (if your Web browser permits) that can later be retrieved to identify you to us.

Our cookies store randomly assigned user identification numbers and information that make your use of the website easier, make the website run more smoothly, and save your logged-in state so that you do not have to log in each time that you visit the website.

You have choices with respect to cookies. By modifying your browser preferences, you have the choice to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set, or to reject all cookies. If you choose to reject all cookies some parts of our website may not work properly in your case.

What are clear gifs? Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages.

We partner with third party ad networks to manage our advertising on other sites and utilize Google Analytics features based on Display Advertising (which may include but are not limited to: Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting, Remarketing, Google Display Network Impression Reporting and DoubleClick Platform integrations). As part of their service, they may use cookies and clear gifs. These Display features enable Google Analytics to collect data about site traffic via Google advertising cookies and anonymous identifiers, in addition to data collected through standard Google Analytics implementation. We will not provide any third-party ad server, including Google, with any of your Personal Information. We and our third party ad server will collect and use your IP address and certain aggregate information about you, such as your browser type, the server your computer is logged onto, the area code and zip code associated with your server and whether or not you responded to a particular advertisement. Using Google's Ads Settings, you can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads.

ACCOUNT ACCESS AND SECURITY

CCB clients with web accounts may access their accounts online to update most of their Personal Information. To update or correct Personal Information that is not editable through their online account, such as their legal name, clients with web accounts must call Client Services. [Clients who purchase services from us online or offline may contact Client Services at the appropriate Client Services phone number to update their Personal Information].

Please keep in mind that your password is the key to your online account. Use unique numbers, letters, and special characters, and do not disclose your password to anyone. If you do share your password with others, remember that you are responsible for all actions taken using your account, and we will treat that person as "you." If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your Personal Information or your account and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately notify us and change your password.

DATA SECURITY

Your electronic information is stored on CCB servers located in the United States. We treat data as an asset that must be protected and use various technologies and procedures (network and data encryption, passwords, physical security, etc.) to protect your Personal Information against unauthorized access and disclosure. Due to the nature of Internet communications and evolving technologies, we cannot provide, and expressly disclaim, any assurance that the information you provide to us will remain free from loss, misuse or alteration by third parties who, despite our efforts, obtain unauthorized access.

LINKS TO THIRD PARTY SITES

Our website may contain links to websites that are not operated by CCB. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites nor for any adverse consequences that may result from your interaction with such third party websites. We recommend that you review the privacy practices of these third party websites.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we propose to use your Personal Information in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection, you will have a choice as to whether we may use your Personal Information in this different manner. If you have an online account, you will be notified of the modification so that you can confirm your acceptance of the modification. HOW MANY VIALS DO I NEED?

National averages range from 3-4 insemination cycles per successful pregnancy. We recommend purchasing at least 5 vials per child to guarantee your donor remains available until reaching your personal family goals. Additionally, you get 1 Year FREE storage if you purchase 4 or more vials ($475 value).

WHY SHOULD I THINK ABOUT STORING VIALS?

Our donors sell out and retire quickly! We have thousands of clients forced to choose between a new donor or not having a second child because they chose not to store vials for future use while they were available. To help you plan for your future, we offer 3 Years FREE storage if you purchase 3 Years+ vials ($1,050 value) - as well as the ability to sell back any unused vials that have not left our control.
